How Will My Donation Be Used?
Your donation to Project CARE will help to empower schools and youth agencies to help support health and success in young people. Rather than throw resources at one-time programs, Project CARE targets its funds towards ongoing and sustained efforts to:
- Train and educate professionals to remove barriers to health and school success
- Educate and empower schools and youth/social service agencies to perform more effectively
- Support academic success in youth who received student assistance while in high school (through the Steven M. Lewis Student Achievement Scholarship. Check out more about this unique and highly successful scholarship.
Your generous donation will not just help one student one time. Every dollar donated to Project CARE enables schools and youth service agencies to work together to support young people to stay healthy and in school. Whether your donations target a specific school district, a Student Assistance Scholarship Winner, or our general fund, you can be sure it will help to build healthy communities that value their young people.
Since 1985, we have prepared over 20,000 adults to remove barriers to success in young people. Every individual we train joins together with others to create a stronger, healthier community fabric. Each adult we train returns to their place of work better prepared to assist not only one but hundreds of young people.
